My Beloved Brethren of MD R-IV-A,

Fraternal Greetings to all of you!!!

I wish to thank all of you for the support you have given to the new sets of officers of our District for Masonic Year 20009-2010 thru your active participation in our activities for the month of June particularly the Independence Day Celebration last June 12, 2009 wherein we have shown our strength as one Masonic District with more than 800 Brethren in attendance.

I thank you too for your cooperation and harmonious conduct of our District meeting for the month of June at Indang Lodge wherein you showed the meaning of Brotherly Love through your actuations thereby proving what unity can achieve in our District.

I wish to solicit your benevolence, assistance and dedication in reaching out and helping Lodges in our District that had been affected by the rift caused primarily by foolish pride and disobedience to our Laws and Regulations.  With our concerted efforts, I am confident that said affected Lodges shall be able to rise again and regain its strength. Let us extend our full support to the efforts of our District Recovery Team headed by VWB. Lito Sacdalan and the GLP Committee on Cavite Affairs composed of our steemed PGMs from Cavite namely MW Bunda, MW Herrera and MW BEltran in recovering the assets/properties of affected Lodges that is rightfully theirs thru legal means.

Let us join hands in praying to the GAOTU for the enlightenment of our lost brothers to come back to our fold; let us pray for the gift of Forgiveness and Understanding for our lost brethren should they decide to rejoin us.

I humbly implore the help and active participation of all our PDDGMs and Past Masters to reactivate the Council of PDDGM and the District Guild of Past Masters to act as consultative body and whisper good counsel to the incumbent officers of the District as well as that of the Blue Lodges and to all Brethren of the District thus solving, if not precluding, problems in the District and Lodges.

With all of us united and harmony prevailing in our Distict and Lodges, we can truly make the DIFFERENCE thru our actuations and humble service to the Craft and to the community which shall leave a lasting imprint for others to emulate,

Maraming Salamat po sa Inyong Lahat mga Mararangal kong mga Kapatid and it is my fortune to serve you as your DDGM and I thank God for His gift of Honorable and Dedicated Brethren!

Respectfully,

Bro. Dominador Victor R. Eugenio

MARAMING SALAMAT PO.

Feb.1, 2009.

VW Erwin Punzalan was nominated as outstanding DDGM for the Philippine jurisdiction, per motion today that was duly seconded in a special meeting at Indang Lodge No. 115, Indang, Cavite.

Bro. Dennis Maldo of Lodge 346 needs some help.  He is suffering from a rare disease called GUILLAIN-BARRE SYNDROME (GBS).   He  will be needing a drug called  IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulins) which costs 80K/day for 5 to 10 days.

A small amount of P4,000.00 was generated today.  If there’s any help we can extend, let’s do it. Let’s save a brother’s life.  The sickness can be cured.

Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) (in French pronounced [ɡilɛ̃ baˈʁe][1][2], in English pronounced /ˈɡiːlæn ˈbɑreɪ/[3], /ɡiːˈæn bəˈreɪ/,[4] etc.[5]) is an acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP), an autoimmune disease affecting the peripheral nervous system, usually triggered by an acute infectious process. It is included in the wider group of peripheral neuropathies. There are several types of GBS, but unless otherwise stated, GBS refers to the most common form, acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (AIDP). It is frequently severe and usually exhibits as an ascending paralysis noted by weakness in the legs that spreads to the upper limbs and the face along with complete loss of deep tendon reflexes. With prompt treatment by plasmapheresis or intravenous immunoglobulins and supportive care, the majority of patients will regain full functional capacity. However, death may occur if severe pulmonary complications and dysautonomia are present.
