DISTRICT MEETING
UNOFFICIAL MINUTES by VW Billy Sumagui
Venue: Pintong Bato No. 51

Start of Meeting: 2:30pm

The DDGM requested that all WM must submit a report and updated Lodge Profile or at least text to him the new petitioners for their lodges so that he can prepare the district growth as requested by the Grand Lodge.

All DGLs and GLIs must submit their reports to the secretary.

Cooperative report:
WB Quicoy of 346 pleaded to all to submit at least 2 members of each lodge to comprise the original incorporators of the cooperative. Initial numbers shall be 36 who will pay the capita and attend the seminar to be given by CDA. The name of the cooperative is not yet final.

Division of district as approved into a resolution shall be as follows:
Region 4A1: 15, 51, 69, 346, 352 & 366
Region 4A2: 2, 17, 31, 97, 238 & 269;
Region 4A3: 49, 115, 165, 300, 316, 350.

Implementing guidelines:
1. Hosting will be rotated among the 3 districts
2. 69 will host 2009
3. 97 shall host 2010, this arrangement was made considering the preparations already set in place by the said lodges.
4. All WM will sign the implementing guidelines,
5. Jurisprudence will finalize the resolutions for presentation at the DisCon

FORMALIZE the report of Recovery Team
Oral Report at this date, WB Mateo will coordinate with Atty. Fajardo and Atty. Villaflor.

VW Sacdalan will render the report on the golf tournament made to augment the funds of the recovery team. The Report is being prepared by WB Jaca.

CHRISTMAS PARTY headed by VW Monge Lito
Dec. 14, at 2pm Sunday at Gov. Ferrer (hosted by Gen Trias)
WMasters will have a final meet during the fellowship at the discon.

RESOLUTION: FROM MT. MAINAM
Confer with Secretary, the report is submitted to the Secretary. This pertains to the grant of pastmasters jewels to those who have not even completed their tour of duty.

On NECRO.
All lodges must send at least three (3) members to attend necro services. To make this effective, the Secretary of each lodge should inform a death of the bro with the district secretary so that all lodges can be informed. This can be done at least by text messages.

VW Nestor Tampol reminds the invitation to the appendant bodies. The invitations were released today.

PROPOSE YOUR CORPORATE NAME FOR DISTRICT COOPERATIVE and other issues

Last August 17, 2008 WB Butch of 69 professionally presented the creation of cooperative as mandated by the Grand Lodge. The following issues were left open and to be decided on the next district meeting:

1. NAME OF THE COOPERATIVE. It is advised that the name must not contain any reference to a Masonic signs, names or symbols, in order to protect the fraternity if something uncalled for happens in the future. The following names, however were suggested:
a. Free Cavite Multipurpose Cooperative
b. Cavite IV-A Multipurpose Cooperative (violates the suggestion)
c. Tylers of Cavite Multipurpose Cooperative (violates the suggestion)
d. Cavite Travellers Multipurpose Cooperative (also violates)
e. Trowel Multipurpose Cooperative (violates too)
f. SUBJECT TO CHANCE MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE (just for laughs, this was really suggested)

2. We also have to vote in the PRINCIPAL PLACE OF BUSINESS. Suggested were Primera Luz and Trece Martirez.

All suggestions are welcome.
